Challenge #3 - Curbing Your Cravings -July 19th to 27th

This is a layout about what kinds of cravings we have and our plan on how to manage them. For example: I will be creating a layout about all the cravings I have (I may use some pictures of food or words)to represent my cravings and then a "game plan" (journal) on how I plan to to control those cravings.

Some examples of (my game plan) controlling cravings:
  • Finding something else to do and before I know it the craving is gone.
  • Another example would be to identify where the craving are coming from and determine what can I eat instead that would satify the craving.

Don't forget your goals you wrote down in week #2 of our challenge: Can't wait to see how everyone is doing.

Week #2 Changes – July 13th – 19th

I am a little early in posting this challenge... so feel free to start when you are ready.

This week's challenge about what you want to change or what you are changing.
Come up with a plan on what or how you are planning to “shape” up this month or how you are going to change your “eating lifestyle” not diet but making lifestyle changes.

Below are some suggestions:
These goals could be goals related exercise, how many pounds, inches,etc.. you want to loose, and/or “lifestyle eating goals”. I would be interested in seeing how we are all doing and seeing whose the “biggest looser” at the end of July.
  • What are your July goals?
  • What are your long-term goals?

Challenge # 1 - July 1, 2008 - July 12, 2008

Challenge #1
This challenge will be a double challenge.
  • Before - Post a layout of yourself as you are today (or your weight as of today) think of it as a before and after type layout. This could be the first page of your album. You can put your weight and the date you started down this journey (and you can hide that information when you post your layout if you want)
  • My Motivation/Reasons Why (original post from Genkiscrapper) This should provide a reminder to us as to why we're doing this. It may or may not include the "why now" aspect of this as well. Weight loss challenge album

Welcome to the Weight Loss Challenge Album Blog. I created this blog to help manage my posts on http://www.twopeasinabucket.com/. You will also notice a link back to my personal blog Croppin' Nuggets located under "My Favorite Blogs"

We could all use support when trying to loose weight or better ourselves; so I thought I would start a Weight Loss Album Challenge to help through that Journey. This album can also remind us of why we are choosing this journey.

About this challenge: Anyone can join in at any time. New challenges are posted every other Sunday.
  • You can post to an old challenge thread at anytime; you do not have to work them in order. Just let us know on the current challenge thread that you did, so we can check out your LO and provide praise and support.
  • I thought the other weight loss challenge (by GenkiScrapper had some good ideas; so I will be posting those as time goes on
  • Since we are starting at a time where there isn't a really big occasion coming up like fall type holidays. I thought that this could be something to keep us motivated or get us started in loosing weight while journaling the experience to help remind us of what it is we are trying to accomplish.
  • This thread can also be support for one another feel free to post your struggles, frustrations, etc as well as your layouts! We're all here to support one another in this journey.
